Opened as a new natural medicine research institute in 2004, Humedix Co., Ltd. Central Research Institute focused on the development of new drugs derived from natural products, and commercialized new natural drugs such as liver function improvement agents and obesity improvement agents, and individual recognition type health functional foods.

Since 2010, we have succeeded in localizing hyaluronic acid filler, which is biocompatible biopolymer material, for the second time in Korea through advanced research field. As biopharmaceuticals, we are developing high value-added medicines such as macular degeneration therapeutic agent, atopy medicine, anti-inflammatory medicine, one-time formulation joint injections, and depot medicine.

In line with the recent growth of K-Beauty, we are concentrating on the development of Humedix’s own high-performance cosmetics through the development of hyaluronic acid application cosmetics formulation and the development of natural products and peptide cosmetics materials.

Humedix Central Research Institute will secure researchers with core technologies such as bio, polymer, injections, cosmetics, analysis and development to create the best research and development achievements in various business fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics.

With the goal of creating the best research results through the synergy of "In house R & D" and "Open Innovation", we are strengthening our R & D network through the multilateral convergence joint research and active technology outsourcing with domestic and foreign government-funded research institutes and leading universities such as KAIST, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, KIST, Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University, Chungang University, Sungkyunkwan University, Kyungpook National University, Konkuk University, Kyunghee University etc.
